The ideal candidate's skills

/ Expertise in HTML5/CSS3, including preprocessors like LESS/SASS, and methodologies such as BEM.
/ 8+ years experience with React.js 
/ Strong experience with Next.js.
/ Proficiency in JavaScript (ES5+) and TypeScript.
/ Hands-on experience consuming REST APIs.
/ Experience with Elasticsearch for search optimization.
/ Expertise in Auth0 for authentication and authorization.
/ Proficiency in Contentful for structured content management and API integration.
/ Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
/ Knowledge about major development tools like GIT, Jenkins/Bamboo, Confluence, and JIRA
/ Experience with with Webpack
/ Deep understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
/ Awareness of SEO standards and how they apply to front-end development.
/ Familiarity with unit testing and related testing frameworks.
/ Proven ability to work effectively in Agile and Scrum methodologies within cross-functional teams.
/ Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills with a high sense of accountability.
/ Advanced level of English proficiency

Optional:
/ Experience working with AWS cloud services (AWS Free Tier, AWS Lambda).
/ Exposure to Node.js development.
/ Familiarity with Commercetools or other headless commerce platforms.
/ Interest or experience in modern front-end tools and processes.

The role

As a Lead Frontend React Engineer within our organization, you will be a part of the team building e-commerce solutions for our clients who need to handle the daily challenges of scaling, resilience, and performance.

You will work in an agile way in cross-functional global teams to deliver exceptional user experiences, having to focus on:
/ Development of high-quality software design and architecture
/ Reviewing code of other project team members
/ Leading architectural discussions and making decisions to ensure scalability and performance of Frontend systems
/ Collaborating with product managers to prioritize and plan feature development
/ Drive proof of concepts (PoC) of new technologies and frameworks
/ Defining and enforcing coding standards and best practices within the Frontend team
