The ideal candidate's skills

/ Should understand contract terms and be able to transcribe them by IFRS 15 (revenue from contracts with customers)

/ Should have strong knowledge in accounting and Finance principles (on notions such as prepayment, deferred revenue, WIP, and accruals, to name a few)

/ Should have legal awareness

/ Should be fluent in English and the official language of their sub-region

/ Should have strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders (on Finance and Delivery)

/ Should be able to integrate all requirements for all stakeholders.

/ Should be solution-driven and proactive, and trigger escalation levels when needed

The role

The Financial Analyst – Subregion plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate recording and tracking of projects, from contract signature through project completion. The Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Business Controller for the sub–region.

/ Reviewing/reading, and understanding the contracts’ terms and conditions

/ Raising any concerns on a contract

/ Setting up projects in the project management tool - OpenAir (project properties, billing, and revenue rules) according to the contracts’ terms

/ Business partner with Sales and delivery to support the calculation of KPIs (GM as sold…)

/ Tracking project’s progress from creation to closure, and keeping the project management tool - OpenAir, up to date (moving the stage of the project according to the information received from Delivery and Finance)

/ Maintaining and analysing projects’ KPIs (Consumption, GM, Healthiness of a project…)

/ Providing ongoing support to the Business Controller – Sub-region during project month-end reporting production (incl. KPI’s review) and throughout the project life by reviewing the project data (accurate and complete)

/ Handling in Open Air the expenses to rebill to projects (quick PO, ICBO expenses…)

/ Tracking exceptions on timesheets (e.g., adjustments post submission)

/ Collaborate closely with the PMO to ensure consistency in project accounting and project reporting

/ Interacting with the Finance Shared Services (FISS) and the Business applications shared services (BASS)

/Timely performing the internal control on the revenue process when he/she is the owner
